With 25 years of experience in her field, Stephanie is among 139 experts internationally Certified as a Trainer and Master Modeler of Neuro-linguistic Programming, (NLP). At the heart of her work is a dedication to the ethical mentoring and practice of NLP- Pairing Great Power with Evolved Principles. Stephanie’s background additionally includes Certification in Ericksonian Hypnosis, Applied Control Theory, Gestalt Therapy, Alcohol and Drug Treatment, and training as a Superior Court Mediator.
Born into an activist “American New South” political family in the still-segregated town of Florence, Alabama, Stephanie discovered that in order to advocate effectively in the outer world, one first had to become balanced, clear, and positive internally. Her teaching models the notion that your innate power + universal principles equal a force with the power to evolve positive personal and planetary breakthroughs. Her students and clients attest that working with Stephanie, the complex becomes simple, and rapid, life-altering, generative, changes are made possible.
Her clients include corporations, non-profits, government institutions and private individuals. Among her clients are: Vistage International, (a CEO only international organization,) where Stephanie has given over 160 trainings in the US, Canada, and in the United Kingdom. In the non-profit and governmental sector she has served at NIEHS (National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences,) and trained Mediators for two NC State Bar Associations . In the private sector Stephanie has personally coached Joe and Terry Graedon, hosts of The People’s Pharmacy on NPR.
Stephanie teaches courses in Neuro-linguistics and offers individual and organizational coaching. Her passion is helping other people find their “True Passion”, their “Reason for Being”, that field of endeavor where they can make best and highest use of their own talents and abilities in a positive way. She does this using her own innate talents and abilities as a “Peak Performance Modeler”. Her work is informed by Abraham Maslow’s work on “peak experiences”.
